Badges are collectible achievements you unlock by reaching milestones in Taskvault. There are 50 badges across multiple categories — some are easy to earn in your first week, others require months of consistent use.

Badge categories
✅ Completion badges
Earned by completing a cumulative number of todos (10, 50, 100, 500 completions and beyond).
🔥 Streak badges
Earned at streak milestones: 7, 30, 60, 100, and 150 consecutive days.
⬆️ Level badges
Earned by reaching specific XP levels.
🛠 Creation badges
Earned for creating todos, milestones, and projects.
💬 Social badges
Earned for @mentions, comments, and message board activity.
⚡ Speed badges
Earned for completing todos on time consistently.
Monthly quest badges — Legendary
⚠️ Warning
To earn the monthly quest badge, complete a threshold number of on-time todos during the month. The exact threshold is shown on the Monthly Quest card in your profile. Missing the quest means losing the badge forever — the scarcity is intentional.
Viewing your badges
Your earned badges appear on your profile page in a dedicated Badges section. Locked badges show as silhouettes with hints about what is required to unlock them. Hover a badge to see its name and unlock condition.

Badges and leaderboards
Your badge count does not directly affect leaderboard rankings, but your badge collection is visible on your public profile. Players who have completed multiple monthly quests stand out visibly — each month's zodiac badge is unique.
