Calendar & Project Events

The Calendar view shows all project events on a monthly grid, giving you a visual overview of deadlines, milestones, and custom events. It is the fastest way to spot scheduling conflicts and plan work around key dates.

At a glance

  • Monthly grid showing all project events on their dates
  • Event types are configurable by admins — create types relevant to your workflow
  • Milestones appear on their target date with a flag icon
  • Multiple events on the same date stack on the calendar cell

What appears on the calendar

Milestones

Shown on their target date with a flag icon. Click to open the milestone detail.

Project events

Shown on their event date with a colour dot matching the event type. Multiple events on the same date stack on the cell.

Custom event types

Workspace admins define named types (e.g. "Sprint Review", "Go Live", "Design Freeze") with custom colours. Each type is filterable on the calendar.

Creating a project event

  1. 1

Click a date on the calendar

Click any date cell. A popover shows existing events for that day and a + Add event button.

  2. 2

    Enter event details

Write a title, pick an event type from the dropdown, and optionally add a description.

  3. 3

    Save

Click Save. The event appears on the calendar immediately and is visible to all project members.

💡 Tip

Use different event types to colour-code your calendar. For example, use "Sprint Review" (blue) for recurring ceremonies and "Go Live" (red) for releases — so important dates stand out visually in a busy month.

Editing and deleting events

Click any event on the calendar to open its detail popover. From there you can edit the title, change the date, change the event type, or delete it. Deleting an event is permanent — there is no recycle bin.

Configuring event types

Workspace admins manage event types from Admin → Event Types. Each type has a name and a colour. Deleting a type does not delete the events that used it — those events show as "Unknown type" until reassigned.

ℹ️ Note

Only workspace admins can create and delete event types. Project admins and members can create events using existing types.
