Monthly Quest

Every calendar month, Taskvault issues one Monthly Quest — a time-limited challenge to complete a set number of on-time todos before the month ends. Completing the quest earns an exclusive legendary zodiac badge. Miss the month and the badge is gone forever.

What counts as on-time

A todo counts toward the monthly quest if it is marked done on or before its due date during the current calendar month. Todos without a due date do not count. Late completions and cancellations are excluded. The due date is evaluated in your account's timezone.

Only on-time completions count (due date met). Late completions, cancellations, and todos without due dates are excluded. Plan accordingly.

Checking your progress

Go to your profile
Click your avatar in the top navigation bar and select Profile.

Open the Quests section
Scroll to the Monthly Quest card. It shows the current month's badge, the target number of on-time todos, and your current progress.

Monitor daily
The progress count updates in real time. The card shows how many more on-time completions you need before the month ends.

The zodiac badge system

Each month's badge corresponds to that month's astrological sign. All 12 badges are Legendary rarity — the highest tier.

The monthly target (number of on-time todos required) may vary month to month. The current target is always shown on the quest progress card.

What happens when you complete the quest

When your on-time completion count reaches the target, the zodiac badge is granted automatically. A badge reveal overlay appears (same animation as other badge unlocks). The badge appears in your profile collection immediately.

⚠️ Warning

The quest closes at midnight on the last day of the month in server time (UTC). If you are in a timezone ahead of UTC, complete your final todos before midnight UTC — not midnight local time.

Strategy tips

Set due dates on every todo you work on this month — todos without due dates never count.
Check the quest card at the start of the month to plan how many on-time completions you need per week.
Use the Upcoming section to schedule future-start todos now so they land in your active list at the right time.
Recurring todos with due dates are one of the easiest ways to hit the target — they guarantee on-time opportunities every day.
